The free assessment decides whether your courses are free or paid. That decision holds for every level you take. The fee is paid once, never as a subscription, and covers every level from your starting level to Level 9.

Fees

• The application and free assessment cost nothing for everyone.
• The fee covers every level from your starting level to Level 9: the lessons, practice, projects and final assessments, marking and feedback, and a Certificate of Completion for each level you pass. Each next level opens automatically when you pass the level before it.
• The Levels 11 and 12 fee covers both advanced levels in the same way. Level 11 opens when the fee is paid; Level 12 opens when you pass Level 11.
• Fees may change. The fee on your invoice is the fee you pay. There is no further invoice for later levels.
• Credit toward an OSSD course: a fee paid for these courses can be adjusted against Am-Can OSSD tuition if the student registers in any Am-Can OSSD credit course within one year.

How to pay

1. Get your invoice. Your invoice is issued with your assessment result. Pay it once; later levels open without another payment. Levels 11 and 12: the invoice is issued when you register for them (see Choose your path below).
2. Pay by card online (fastest). Open the invoice from your profile on amcantech.org and pay by credit or debit card. The payment is recorded at once and your next step starts automatically.
3. Or pay by Interac e-Transfer (Canada). Send it to accounts@amcan.tech and put your reference number and the student's full name in the message. Access starts once the school office has recorded the payment.

Choose your path

• Canadian citizens and permanent residents: Levels 0 to 9 are free. Apply for the free assessment
• International students: CAD 49 once for Levels 0 to 9. Apply for the free assessment (the invoice comes with your result)
• Current AI students, Levels 11 and 12: Register for Levels 11 and 12 (sign in first)

Refund policy

• The fee is a one-time payment that covers every level from your starting level to Level 9. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
• Changed your mind? You may cancel within 48 hours of payment and get a full refund, if access has not been given to you yet. Send your cancellation in writing to Support@amcantech.org with your reference number.
• After 48 hours, or once access has been given: no refund is given.
• The same rule applies to the Levels 11 and 12 fee: no refund once Level 11 access has been given.
• A fee paid may instead be adjusted against Am-Can OSSD tuition if the student registers in an Am-Can OSSD credit course within one year (see above).
