How to Enrol in the AI Coding Courses
Grades 7 to 12, self-paced, 100% online. Non-credit certificate courses.
There are two enrolment paths: one for Canadian citizens and permanent residents, and one for international students. Both start with the same free online application. The school checks it automatically and emails your result and your reference number, usually within an hour.
Path 1: Canadian citizens and permanent residents
For students with Canadian citizenship or permanent residence.
- Levels 0 to 9: free. No fee and no invoice.
- Levels 11 and 12 (optional, advanced): CAD 49, one fee for both levels.
- Apply. Complete the free assessment application. Have a photo or scan of a document that proves your identity and age ready to upload.
- Sign the Registration and Consent Form (students under 18). The school office emails the form. A parent or guardian signs it and returns it through the upload link in that email, quoting your reference number.
- Office check. The school office checks your documents and switches on your access, normally within one working day, and emails you when it is on.
- Start learning. Sign in at amcantech.org with the email address on your application and open the Learning Hub.
Path 2: International students
For students who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
- Levels 0 to 9: CAD 49, once, for every level from your starting level to Level 9.
- Levels 11 and 12 (optional, advanced): CAD 99, one fee for both levels.
- Apply. Complete the free assessment application, with your proof of identity and age.
- Pay the one-time fee. Your invoice is emailed with your assessment result. Pay it once by card online or by another method on the Fees and Payment page. Later levels open without another payment.
- Sign the Registration and Consent Form (students under 18). Same as step 2 in Path 1.
- Office check. Same as step 3 in Path 1.
- Start learning. Sign in at amcantech.org and open the Learning Hub.
Fees: when they apply and how to pay
When a fee applies
- The application and free assessment cost nothing for everyone.
- Canadian citizens and permanent residents: Levels 0 to 9 are free. Levels 11 and 12: CAD 49, one fee for both levels.
- International students: Levels 0 to 9: CAD 49 once, covering every level from your starting level to Level 9. Levels 11 and 12: CAD 99, one fee for both levels.
When you receive the invoice
- Levels 0 to 9: with your assessment result, by email.
- Levels 11 and 12: when you register for them.
How to pay
- By card online: sign in at amcantech.org, then use the "Pay the course fee" button in your offer email.
- Other ways to pay, such as Interac e-Transfer, are on the Fees and Payment page.
- Pay once. Later levels open without another payment.
If you enrol in an OSSD credit course with the school within one year, these fees can be adjusted against your OSSD tuition under the school's fee policy, so the AI course becomes free.
Already studying? Levels 11 and 12
Any current AI Coding Courses student can add the two advanced levels, Level 11 (RAG AI: Build a Chatbot That Answers From Your Documents) and Level 12 (Multi-Agent AI: Build and Secure a Team of AI Agents).
- Sign in, then register on the Levels 11 and 12 course fee page and choose the fee that matches your status in Canada: CAD 49 for Canadian citizens and permanent residents, CAD 99 for international students.
- Students who have passed Level 9 can also use the Continue to Level 11 page in the Learning Hub.
- Level 11 opens as soon as the fee is paid. Level 12 opens automatically when you pass Level 11.
Your next level (Levels 0 to 9)
Each next level opens automatically when you pass the level before it. There is no further fee for Levels 0 to 9.
